Physics Wallah (PW) was founded in 2014 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari and is now one of India's leading edtech companies. Starting as a YouTube channel, the company now offers online and offline courses for various competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and UPSC. PW's mission is to provide affordable yet high-quality education to students to help them achieve their academic goals. By 2025, the company has established over 198 offline centers and serves more than 4.46 million paying users. Recently, PW has filed for listing on the stock exchange to raise 382 billion rupees, a significant step for the Indian edtech industry.
